Biography

Lauren Andrews is a research assistant at RAND, working with the RAND Gulf States Policy Institute. Her main areas of focus are urban planning in the Gulf Coast region. As part of her research, Andrews developed a protocol for interviews on flood-risk to inform communication strategies and mitigation policy for the City of New Orleans. She has also conducted qualitative analysis and a literature review to support decision analysis and evidence-based strategic planning, as well as community outreach for project work and business development. Andrews has an M.A. in urban and regional planning from the University of New Orleans.
