Biography
Laura Brereton is a policy analyst with the Health and Healthcare team at RAND Europe. Her research interests lie in international health system comparisons, competition and collaboration between healthcare purchasers and providers, and organisational culture change. Recent work includes an evaluation of the UK Department of Health Integrated Care Pilots and an analysis of nicotine product marketing and disease management programmes in European states. Brereton worked previously in public affairs for health and medical associations in the United States and the UK. She has an M.Sc. in public health/health services management from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a B.Sc. (magna cum laude) from Boston University.
