Overview

Biography

Jim Burgdorf is a doctoral student at the Pardee RAND Graduate School and an assistant policy analyst at RAND. His areas of interest include health care, health insurance, cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit analysis, substance use, and entrepreneurship. Previously, he served as a junior analyst at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), where he was lead author of the National Healthcare Quality Report (NHQR) and a contributing author of the National Healthcare Disparities Report (NHDR). Burgdorf holds a B.A. in public policy analysis and economics from New College of Florida.
