James Derbyshire
Overview
Biography
James Derbyshire is a senior analyst at RAND Europe with a research interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, regional economics, demography, multi-agent modelling, social network analysis, clusters, employment policy, and sector studies. Before joining RAND, Derbyshire worked for four years as a senior economist at Cambridge Econometrics. He has also worked at the European Commission, Directorate General for Enterprise and Industry. Derbyshire has a Ph.D. in innovation and economics from the University of Liverpool Management School and an M.B.A. from the University of Durham.
