Biography
Joseph Dougherty is a media relations officer in the RAND Corporation's Office of Media Relations. Prior to joining RAND in 2007, he held media relations positions at The Heritage Foundation and Jane's Information Group, covered Capitol Hill for Passenger Transport magazine, and was a realtor for four years. Dougherty also served as news editor for the Connection Newspapers in Northern Virginia and was a longtime soccer columnist for the Journal Newspapers in Virginia.
Dougherty is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators.
