Clifford Grammich has been a communications analyst at RAND since 1999, working in nearly every business unit of RAND on a wide variety of projects. His recent work has included projects on small-business policies, defense acquisitions and expenditures, demography, education, health, and security issues. Outside RAND he works on research projects for the Michigan State University School of Criminal Justice and is chairman of the Religion Census operations committee for for the Association of Statisticians of American Religious Bodies. Before coming to RAND he conducted research for community organizations in the Midwest and South and reported for the Chicago Tribune and local community newspapers. He holds bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from the University of Chicago in political science.
