Biography

Aileen Heinberg is an associate behavioral scientist at the RAND Corporation where she is a member of the Center for Financial and Economic Decision Making and a researcher at the Financial Literacy Center. She is also a member of the HelloWallet Research Advisory Board. Her work focuses on judgment and decisionmaking, particularly in the context of consumer financial decisions. In the past, she has also studied mental health, cognitive correlates of aging, and children's health at UCLA, Columbia University's Sergievsky Center, and the New York State Psychiatric Institute. She received a Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles and an A.B. from Columbia University.
