Ryan Henry

Biography
From 2003 to 2008, Ryan Henry served as principal deputy under secretary of defense for Policy. He twice received the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, the highest civilian award within the U.S. Department of Defense, for his accomplishments. Henry was also a senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies; the information systems architect (and earlier a program manager) for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency; and, as a Navy officer, an experimental test pilot and commander in combat, serving in both Operation Desert Storm and Vietnam. He is a professor at the Pardee RAND Graduate School.
