Salar Jahedi is an associate economist at the RAND Corporation and a professor at the Pardee RAND Graduate School. His research focus is in behavioral decision making.

Jahedi has studied how the presentation and arrangement of information can alter individuals' economic choices, the mechanisms by which this occurs, and how this knowledge can be used to design policies that will be effective in the long-run. He has expertise in designing experiments and conducting econometric analysis on large datasets. While his interests are broad, his research has primarily been in the areas of financial and health related choices.

Prior to joining RAND, Jahedi was an assistant professor at the University of Arkansas. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley and his B.A. from the University of Chicago.
