Biography

Maryse Penny is an associate analyst in RAND Europe's Defence and Security programme. She has been working on a number of projects exploring the European defence industrial and technological base and has contributed to projects on information assurance and cyber-security. She holds a masters degree in international conflict studies from King's College London and conducted her research on the evolution of British and French defence policies since the end of the Cold War. Before joining RAND, she worked at a number of security actors, including the French Ministry of Defence and the French Institute for International Relations (IFRI).
