Ashley Pierson

Biography
Ashley Pierson is an assistant policy analyst at RAND and a Ph.D. student at the Pardee RAND Graduate School. Her work at RAND focuses on education research and program evaluation and includes projects on early childhood education and K-12 school leadership. Pierson has a B.A. in Latin American studies from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Pacific International Affairs from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). At UCSD, she focused on international development and interned in the monitoring and evaluation department at a local nonprofit. Prior to coming to PRGS, she worked as a project coordinator in Puebla, Mexico, managing the evaluation of a randomized controlled trial of a small business training program.
