Biography
Ben Pietrzyk is the congressional relations specialist for the Office of Congressional Relations at the RAND Corporation, where he focuses on external outreach. Prior to coming to RAND in March 2007, Pietrzyk was a fellow for the Lt. Governor of Illinois where he worked on energy efficiency issues including ethanol, bio-diesel and greening Illinois government. He also worked for Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) on the Middle East and Central Asia subcommittee.
Pietrzyk graduated in 2005 from Loyola University Chicago with a B.A. cum laude in political science. He went on to receive a Master of Arts in 2006 from Loyola University Chicago in political science with a international relations concentration.
