Craig Pollack, MD, MHS is an adjunct staff member of the RAND Corporation. He is an assistant professor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in the Department of Medicine with a joint appointment in the Bloomberg School of Public Health and membership in the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is board certified in internal medicine and practices as a primary care physician. His research focuses on cancer prevention and control with an emphasis on prostate cancer. His work seeks to understand how the organization environment of health care influences the type and quality of care that patients receive. In other work, he examines the broader social context of health and health care, particularly on housing, financial strain and socioeconomic status.
