Biography

Camille Sawak is a research assistant at the RAND Corporation, where she works on a broad range of security and defense policy issues. Her research has focused on NATO force transformation, Poland's defense modernization, U.S. nuclear strategy and policy, requirements for non-lethal capabilities in military operations, Iraq's internal and external security environment, and energy security in the Caspian and Turkey. She also serves as the coordinator for the RAND Business Leaders Forum, a semi-annual meeting of a select group of executives and policymakers from the United States, Europe, and Russia.

Prior to joining RAND, she interned with the Project on Nuclear Issues at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Camille graduated magna cum laude from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in International Relations and holds an M.A. in Security Policy Studies from the George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs.
