Biography

Jesse Sussell is a Ph.D. candidate at the Pardee RAND Graduate School and an assistant policy analyst at RAND. Sussell comes to PRGS from the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where he was the director of a data analysis department. His current research interests include political polarization in the United States, geostatistical and GIS methods, and drug policy. He holds a B.A. in economics (summa cum laude) from UCLA; his senior thesis there was titled, "Determinants of the Decline in the American Real Wage Rate."
