Steven Trochlil is a doctoral candidate at the Pardee RAND Graduate School and an assistant policy analyst at RAND. He has done research for the U.S. Air Force's A-10 Systems Program Office to develop a new leading edge for the root of the A-10 wing. As part of his work for the Systems Program Office, he served as an advisor to the two cadets continuing the project in his absence. He also participated in a cultural immersion program to Israel to learn more about this strategically important nation. His policy interests include military acquisitions and military manpower requirements. Trochlil has a B.S. in aeronautical engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
