Kristin R. Van Busum

Biography
Kristin Van Busum is a project associate at the RAND Corporation. She works on a variety of projects addressing health promotion, employer-based wellness programs, patient decisionmaking, and quality and access to care. Prior to joining RAND, Van Busum was a research associate at the New York University School of Medicine, where she worked on projects evaluating the impact of calorie labeling in New York City and patient use of quality data. Her independent thesis examined the association between welfare policies on prenatal care utilization and birth outcomes.
Van Busum received an MPA from NYU, where she concentrated in health policy analysis.
