Why It's Important to Tell Others About RAND's Work
As a non-profit institution committed to providing objective analysis of and effective solutions to global problems, the RAND Corporation has been expanding the boundaries of human knowledge for nearly 60 years. RAND accomplishes this mission in several ways:
- by conducting RAND-initiated research,
- by conducting objective research on behalf of the public and private sectors,
- by informing public policy and decisionmaking, and
- by disseminating its findings broadly so that our leaders, and the public at large, can make informed, rational decisions.
Improving decisionmaking is why RAND makes most of its findings available free to the public through this site.
