Benefits of Giving

The RAND Alumni Association is unlike any other alumni association. Being a member provides opportunities for both former and current RANDites to keep in touch as well as to have continued firsthand access to research findings that are informing current policy debates.

Additional benefits associated with membership include the following:

  • $100 – $249 receive the RAND Calendar
  • $250 – $499 receive the RAND Calendar and the annual Year in Review
  • $500 – $999 RAND Calendar, annual Year in Review, and invitations to RAND Distinguished Speakers Series events

Gifts over $1,000 place you in the RAND Policy Circle.

Innovator Circle $1,000 – $4,999

  • Invitations to all RAND Policy Circle events and reserved priority seating at events
  • Invitations to RAND's Start Smart breakfasts—a RAND scholar discusses issues in the news with a small group of fellow Innovators
  • Early notification of limited participation events such as RAND's biennial Politics Aside
  • A subscription to RAND Review—published three times annually to cover the big issues with an eye for the important details—and the RAND Catalog
  • A subscription to the RAND News Bulletin—a monthly email update on RAND's newest research and latest impacts on the policy scene
  • Recognition in the RAND Annual Report

The RAND Alumni Association also offers donors at the Innovator level invitations to Policy Forum and Distinguished Speaker Series events.

Groundbreaker Circle $5,000 – $9,999

  • Complimentary RAND publications, sent upon Groundbreaker request
  • Invitations to small roundtables and other off-the-record sessions with RAND scholars and current and former policymakers from around the world
  • Access to researchers and events in RAND regional offices across the United States
  • All benefits of the Innovator Circle

The RAND Alumni Association also offers donors at the Groundbreaker level opportunities to attend congressional briefings by RAND staff in Washington, D.C.

All higher giving categories include benefits of the previous levels.
