About RAND Child Policy

RAND Child Policy makes it easier for decisionmakers to find the evidence they need about what works to improve outcomes for children and families. We disseminate findings from child and family research conducted in RAND's divisions via this website, an email newsletter, Congressional briefings and newsletters, RAND Policy Forums, and other products and events. We also communicate rigorous evidence from the larger scientific community via the website of the Promising Practices Network on Children, Families and Communities.

RAND is a leader in the field of child and family policy analysis:

  • More than 150 RAND researchers are currently working to find solutions to the most pressing child and family issues facing decisionmakers around the globe.
  • RAND researchers publish over a hundred journal articles, reports, and other publications each year.
  • A large and diverse set of public and private organizations select RAND to conduct objective analysis related to their child and family policy challenges each year.

Please contact us if we can help you improve decisions related to the well-being of children and families.
