For Government Agencies

RAND does a great deal of work for federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as for foreign governments, through both sole-source and competitive contracts. The U.S. military and the Office of the Secretary of Defense also engage RAND research and analysis through multi-year contracts for three Federally Funded Research and Development Centers housed at RAND.

Existing government clients interested in working with RAND on additional projects may wish to contact their research division liaisons directly.

Federal and California government agencies may also obtain RAND services through the General Services Administration (GSA) Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services (MOBIS) schedule and California Multiple Award Schedules (CMAS).

State and local government agencies other than those in California can contact our research divisions directly or contact Frank McKown at mckown@rand.org for advice on appropriate contracting options.
