Kristy Anderson
Kristy Anderson is the Legislative Analyst at the RAND Corporation for RAND Health and RAND Institute for Civil Justice. Prior to coming to RAND in January 2004, she worked on health and disability issues for United States Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA), who sits on several health committees. While working for Mr. Harkin, she performed legislative, policy, outreach, and constituent liaison duties.
Ms. Anderson received her B.A. with a double major in Political Science and International Relations from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She is currently working on her Master of Public Policy with a concentration in Global Medical and Health Policy at George Mason University's School of Public Policy. Additionally, Anderson is a member of the Phi Beta Delta Honor Society, which recognizes international scholars.
