Nancy Pollock
ISE Director of Operations
Nancy Kaczynski Pollock (M.P.H., Public Health, University of Pittsburgh, 1999) is trained in epidemiology and has been with RAND since September 2001 originally as a Research Administrator/Senior Project Associate primarily working in Health. She began her role as ISE Director of Operations in May 2004.
Prior to joining RAND, she was with the University of Pittsburgh serving in an administrative management role. She has extensive experience in research project management and expertise in budgeting, proposal development, subcontract management, human subjects protection, research ethics, database design, recruitment and training. She also has been involved in addictions research for 12 years, has been a co-investigator on 5 NIH-funded studies, and has authored or co-authored over 20 papers in peer reviewed journals.
