RAND Behavioral Finance Forum

The RAND Behavioral Finance (BeFi) Forum is a year-long event that brings together academic, financial, and government leaders to share cutting-edge behavioral research in financial decisionmaking and related topics through an annual conference and webinar series.

The conference will be held on November 14, 2016 at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington DC; Nobel Laureate George Akerlof will serve as the keynote speaker.

    Consumer Financial Decision Making was the theme of the 2015 RAND Behavioral Finance (BeFi) Forum on October 21, presented in partnership with the Aspen Institute, and in collaboration with the Institute for the Future. Dr. Robert J. Shiller gave the keynote address.

BeFi Webinar Series

Following our annual showcase event in the fall, we will be conducting a series of hour-long webinars featuring a more in-depth look at behavioral finance topics. Like the BeFi Roundtable, the webinars provide an opportunity to exchange ideas that are at the cutting edge of behavioral finance and how they can be incorporated into public policy and efforts to improve financial decisionmaking and well-being.
