RAND Institute for Civil Justice Programs

The ICJ has two ongoing programs. One is the Law, Finance, and Capital Markets Program, which analyses an emerging trend of providing outside capital to law firms to support lawsuits and its potential effects on the American legal system. The other is the Southern California 50 Leadership Council, which brings together leading lawyers, judges, and RAND researchers for discussions of law and public policy.
