Formalizing Collaboration
Establishing Domestic Violence Memorandums of Understanding Between Military Installations and Civilian Communities
The military has begun to encourage collaborative relationships--through formal memorandums of understanding (MOUs)--between military installations and neighboring communities intended to prevent and respond to domestic violence involving service members. The authors examine the challenges of and recommendations for establishing such MOUs.
