Cover Image

By: Duran Bell, P. Kasschau, Gail L. Zellman

A critical review of literature on problems of elderly members of minority groups. The literature is assessed in terms of its usefulness in helping policy makers to improve the delivery of services (income support, housing, nutrition, medical care). In addition, the study summarizes available material on the nature of existing inadequacies in the delivery of these services, and makes several recommendations for changes in the delivery system. The findings from the literature were supplemented by cross tabulations of 1970 census files (the 15 Percent Public Use Sample, by State). 103 pp. Bibliog.
