This is the technical appendix to “Application Of ACOVE-3 Quality Indicators to Patients with Advanced Dementia and Poor Prognosis,” published in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, Volume 55 Issue s2 Page S247-S252, October 2007. It contains Appendices 1 & 2 that present the reasoning underlying the exclusion of quality indictors from application to selected patients and a description of all exclusions.
