Copying ItselfAs we grow and age, our cells are constantly dividing. The instruction set for each cell is contained in the DNA. When a cell divides, each of the two new cells needs its own set of DNA. DNA can replicate itself due to the fact that each base pair can bond with only one other base pair. This fact also makes possible the coding of mRNA (next) and many genetic technologies.
