Ryan Bauer is a defense analyst at RAND. His research interests include homeland security, emergency preparedness, defense policy, Russian and European foreign policy, and information operations. Previously, Bauer worked as an analyst at CNA, where he conducted research for a number of projects relating to homeland security, emergency preparedness, and law enforcement. Bauer holds a master's degree in Security Studies from Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service.
