Zachary Burdette is an associate political scientist at RAND. His research covers strategy, military analysis, and emerging technologies. He has published in forums including International Security, Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, War on the Rocks, and Lawfare. Prior to joining RAND, he was a Research Fellow at Harvard's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. Burdette received a Ph.D. in political science from MIT, an M.A. in security studies from Georgetown, and a B.S. summa cum laude in foreign service from Georgetown.
