Samantha Cherney is a quantitative analyst at the RAND Corporation. Her research portfolio includes work on civil and criminal justice, military health, and truth decay. She graduated with an M.P.A. from the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs, where she concentrated in economics and financial policy. Cherney also received a J.D. from Cornell Law School and is a licensed attorney in New York and New Jersey. After law school, Cherney clerked for an appellate judge in New Jersey. Cherney received her B.A. in history from McGill University.
