Overview

Clara de Lataillade is a research assistant working in the area of defence, security and infrastructure at RAND Europe. She has worked on projects relating to online hatred, counterterrorism strategy and hybrid threats for the UK Home Office and the EU.

Her research interests encompass a wide range of security-related issues, including disinformation, terrorism, online and far-right extremism, and polarisation. She holds a B.Sc. in politics and international relations from the London School of Economics, and an M.A. in conflict resolution with a focus on violent extremism from King’s College London. Prior to joining RAND, she worked as a research assistant for the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
