Overview

Clara de Lataillade (she/her) is a research assistant working in the area of defence and security at RAND Europe. She has worked on projects relating to influence operations, hybrid threats, right-wing extremism, security innovation and responsible mining in conflict-affected countries for clients in the UK and the EU.

Her research interests encompass a wide range of security-related issues, including disinformation, terrorism, online and far-right extremism, and polarisation. She holds a B.Sc. in politics and international relations from the London School of Economics, and an M.A. in conflict resolution with a focus on violent extremism from King’s College London. Prior to joining RAND, she worked as a research assistant for the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
