Annemari de Silva is a research assistant at RAND Europe in the area of home affairs and social policy. She holds an M.A. South Asian area studies from SOAS, University of London, where she was a Chevening Scholar, and a bachelor of liberal studies degree from the University of Sydney, Australia. Prior to joining RAND Europe she was a researcher in public policy in Sri Lanka and worked in the civil society space. Her research interests and experience are in workers, women, international development, and cultural policy.
