Advait Deshpande is a senior analyst at RAND Europe. His main research interests include emerging technologies, research evaluation, science, technology, and innovation policy, and technology futures.

Before joining RAND Europe, Deshpande was a post-doctoral researcher at the Open University. Previously he worked in the computing industry, where his last stint was with IBM as a business analyst. He has a Ph.D. from the Open University and an M.Sc. in telecommunications engineering from University College London.
