Overview

Sandra Evans is a behavioral/social scientist at RAND. She conducts organizational research in a range of settings including health care and military. Her research interests include organizational change, strategic management, human resource management, inter-organizational collaboration, and innovation and technology use in organizations. She has extensive experience with social science methods including focus groups, interviewing, content analysis, survey research, and social network analysis.

Prior to joining RAND, she was an assistant professor of communication at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She has a Ph.D. in communication from the University of Southern California, a dual-master’s degree in global communication from the University of Southern California and the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a B.Sc. in international studies and radio/television/film from Northwestern University.
