Richard Flint is an analyst at RAND Europe where he focuses on the application of quantitative methods in defence and security public policy research.

Flint has a background in both the physical and social sciences, having completed an M.Sci. degree in physics at Imperial College London before studying an M.A. in terrorism, security and society at King’s College London. Before joining RAND, he gained experience at the International Security Department at Chatham House and in a London-based machine learning start-up.
