Overview

Taylor Frey is an associate physical scientist at the RAND Corporation. Prior to joining RAND, she completed her Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of California, Irvine, and her B.S.E. in chemical engineering at Case Western Reserve University. During her academic career, she has studied many different areas including vaccine development, waste water treatments, and nanodevices for pharmaceutical and biological separations. She also developed curriculums for the chemistry laboratories to help students engage in science both during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Her over-arching interests are biotechnology, climate and energy reaserch, and disaster research.
