Overview

Silvia Galimberti is a research assistant at RAND Europe working in the area of home affairs and social policy, with a particular focus in the criminal justice system.

Her research interests include crime prevention, prison reform, prisoner reentry, serious and organised crime, and EU law enforcement cooperation. She holds an M.Sc. in criminal justice policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a B.A. Hons in criminology and sociology. Before working at RAND, she worked at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in the division of Treaty Affairs, Organised Crime Branch.
