Overview

Silvia Galimberti is an analyst at RAND Europe working in the areas of home affairs and social policy. Her focus is on the criminal justice portfolio and her research interests include crime prevention, prison reform, serious and organized crime, and EU law enforcement cooperation.

Prior to joining RAND, she worked at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in the division of Treaty Affairs, conducting research and analysis on issues related to organized crime. She holds an M.Sc. in criminal justice policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a B.A. Hons in criminology and sociology.
