Overview

Kyle Haak is a Ph.D. candidate at the Pardee RAND Graduate School and an assistant policy researcher at RAND Corporation. He has a master of philosophy in policy analysis from Pardee RAND Graduate School and a bachelor of science in physics with a minor in nuclear weapons and strategy from the United States Air Force Academy. His research interests include climate change, electricity resilience, military installation resilience, armed conflict logistics, and new and advanced nuclear energy technology. His dissertation topic explores the military application of nuclear energy and aims to develop a systematic and repeatable framework to assist DoD with decisionmaking about investment into nuclear energy.
