Kyle Haak is an assistant policy researcher at RAND and a Ph.D. candidate at the Pardee RAND Graduate School. He has a B.S. in physics with a minor in nuclear weapons and strategy from the United States Air Force Academy. His research interests include freshwater resources, food insecurity, the economic and environmental impact of energy sources, the economic and psychological impact of nuclear weapons, and how armed conflict is affected by resource management.
Prior to joining Pardee RAND, he was a consultant at Fluence Corporation, where he specialized in target market analysis for modular desalination units.
