Overview

Eugeniu (Eugene) Han is a doctoral candidate at the Pardee RAND Graduate School and an assistant policy researcher at RAND. His interests include international political economy, national security, economic aspects of competition between great powers, innovation policy, and data analysis.

He has studied the economics of government regulation at the Hoover Institution and applications of price theory at the Becker Friedman Institute for Research in Economics. In Beijing, he conducted research on Chinese science, technology, and innovation policies for the European Union Embassy in China. He is fluent in English, Chinese, Russian, and Romanian. Han holds a Master of Management degree from Tsinghua University and a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Chicago.
