Overview

Emily Haskel is an assistant policy researcher at RAND and a Ph.D. student at the Pardee RAND Graduate School. Her research interests include U.S.-China relations, East Asian security issues, cyber security, and international development.

Prior to joining Pardee RAND, she was an analyst at the Department of Defense, where she led cyber analysis and counterintelligence projects to inform U.S. government policymakers. She has a B.A. in international relations from Brown University with a focus in economics.
