Courtney Hood is an analyst at RAND Europe working in the area of innovation, health and science. Her research interests and experience include public policy and international development, agriculture and food security, food systems, and nutrition. She joined RAND Europe from the International Fund for Agricultural Development, where she managed the organization’s relationship with some its largest donors.

Hood previously worked in various public policy positions with the Government of Canada, including as advisor at Canada’s mission to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation, as senior advisor to the vice president of policy and as policy analyst with the Canadian International Development Agency. She holds an M.A. in international relations and geography from the University of Toronto, Canada.
