Ben Horton

Ben Horton is head of communications at RAND Europe. His responsibilities include communications strategy, media relations, digital content, events and external engagement. He has built a career in think tank strategy and communications over the past decade, predominantly based at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs. His most recent role at Chatham House was Head of the Director's Office, where he supported the CEO with strategic planning and public affairs. Prior to this position, across successive roles in Chatham House's Communications department, he built a portfolio of projects encompassing publishing, podcasts, digital marketing, youth engagement and government relations. Ben has Master's degrees in public policy from Birkbeck, University of London and publishing from Oxford Brookes University.
