Pavan Katkar is a doctoral student at the Pardee RAND Graduate School and an assistant policy researcher at RAND. He is currently studying the implications and applications of the blockchain technology. He is also interested in creativity and its potential to positively impact humanity.
Before coming to RAND, Katkar worked as a project officer at the Centre for Technology and Policy at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He holds an M.A. in science and security from the Department of War Studies at King’s College London and a bachelor's in engineering in the field of information science from the National Institute of Engineering, India.
