Overview
Polina Kats-Kariyanakatte is policy analyst at RAND. Her work is primarily focused on the areas of mental health, security, and foreign policy. Recent projects have focused on program evaluation, cost analysis, and security risk, and the Russian military. Prior to joining RAND, Kats-Kariyanakatte was an Executive Director at MilestonesNYC where she focused on program and board development. Earlier, she worked as an Executive Director at the Lower Manhattan Health Coalition where she focused on program development focused around at-risk populations. She received her MSPPM and both of her BS degrees from Carnegie Mellon University, and is currently pursuing her post-bacc in clinical psychology.
