Jody Larkin is a research librarian at the RAND Corporation. Her responsibilities include performing and organizing literature searches and their results, locating specific data from reference materials and other sources, and assisting in developing both the reference and general collection of books, journals, and reports, in the area of health and behavioral sciences. Before joining RAND, Larkin was a senior information specialist at the Emergency Care Research Institute (ECRI) and a reference librarian at the University of Pittsburgh Health Sciences Library System. Prior to becoming an information professional, she was a clinical and home care nurse. She has more than 15 years of experience in information retrieval, most of which has focused on health and behavioral sciences. Larkin earned her M.S. in library and information science from the University of Pittsburgh.
