Overview

Jody Larkin is a research librarian and the manager of Knowledge Services' Library Research Services (LRS) Group at the RAND Corporation. In addition to her managerial responsibilities, she primarily supports health and health care projects and oversees the day-to-day Knowledge Services operations in the Pittsburgh Office. Her research responsibilities include creating, executing, and running literature searches, locating specific data from reference materials and other sources, and assisting in obtaining research materials. Before joining RAND, Larkin was a senior information specialist at ECRI and a reference librarian at the University of Pittsburgh Health Sciences Library System. Prior to becoming an information professional, she was a clinical and home care nurse. She has 20 years of experience in information retrieval, most of which has focused on health and behavioral sciences. Larkin earned her M.S. in library and information science, and B.S. in nursing, from the University of Pittsburgh.
