Alice Lynch is a defence and security analyst at RAND Europe. Her research experience spans a range of areas including defence strategy and policy; defence acquisition; capability development; emerging defence technologies; violent extremism; arms control; and the future operating environment. Recent clients include the UK Ministry of Defence, the European Defence Agency, NATO, the European Commission, the UK Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, the French Ministry of Defence, the German Federal Foreign Office; the UK Home Office, and the Dutch Research and Documentation Centre (WODC). Prior to joining RAND Europe, she undertook internships with the International Institute for Strategic Studies and the British Embassy in Bahrain. She holds an M.A. in applied security strategy from the University of Exeter.
