Overview
Chryssa Politi is a research assistant at RAND Europe working in the area of science and emerging technology. She studied political science and international relations at the University of Peloponnese in Greece. Simultaneously, she worked as an intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and rotated through three different divisions.
Her M.A. in modern European studies at UCL allowed her to study the interplay between politics and technology. Her thesis assessed the effectiveness of different data privacy concepts in eradicating personalised disinformation on social media platforms and protecting citizen participation in elections.
Prior to joining RAND, she worked as a Schuman Trainee at the European Parliament’s Twitter/Promotion team.
