Kristin Thue is a research assistant focusing on defence, security and infrastructure team at RAND Europe. She graduated from King’s College London in 2020, where she specialised in gender and conflict governance, terrorism, and security policy in the Middle East. 

Prior to joining RAND, Thue conducted research and outreach for Agora Think Tank on a strategic foresight project towards the UK Government Integrated Review on foreign, security, and development policy. She has a background in communications and advocacy from Norway. She holds leadership positions in two UK security networks: Women in War and International Politics at King’s College London and Women in International Security UK.
